A literature review outline gives out a “general picture” of the literary piece you are talking about.   • Select your topic. What is it about? Why did you choose to talk about it? Your introduction answers two WH questions Who and Why.

Step III.

  • Analyze the literary piece you wish to talk about. This is still part of your introduction or your first paragraph.

Step IV.

  • Interpreting your choice of literature.

Step V.

  • Sum up your ideas in the form of a chart, a table or a diagram. This is to make it easier for you to expound on your writing ideas and opinions.

Step VI.

  • Arrange your ideas from general to specific when you begin to write your review. This way it would be less of a problem for you to write everything down, and with less mistakes to make.
