Education Questionnaire

School only lasts like what, at least 16 years in a regular school. A year in preschool and kindergarten, then at least 6 years in elementary, 4 years in high school and another 2 more for Junior and Senior High.

For some, they stop at 18 years old since they are technically allowed to work. But there are people who are simply not satisfied with what they have learned in school, so they proceed to college to take up a course they desire.

Majority of the students would stop after college. But there are still others who have the drive and fire within to take up a second courser, a Masters degree or even a doctoral degree. After all, learning never stops- even when you are old and gray. It only ends perhaps when you are dead.

Education, in its quintessential form is a right and never a privilege. Here are some reasons as to why students are supposed to go to school and actually take the time to show appreciation to their parents for sending them to school. 20 Reasons Why Education is Important

1. World citizenship.

Education is a must for world citizenship or global citizenship. Education produces citizens who are men and women of intellectual and moral integrity, who are neither fanatical nor cynical, but are public-spirited, tolerant and wise. Education aims at producing ideal human-beings. These people are truly cultured, wise, tolerant and public-spirited. You may also see what is a questionnaire?

2. Promotes national interest.

People who are often educated have the ability and power to become someone bigger than themselves. They are people who are able to promote national interest by contributing ideas and doing their service for the good of society. Examples of these professionals working for the good of the human race are mostly doctors, engineers, policemen, etc…

3. True benefactors of human race.

Writers, scientists, humanistic philosophers, profoundly religious man with abiding faith in spiritual values, social reformers and other men with a constructive genius because these educated men should be praised as the true benefactors of the human race as they continually contribute to the knowledge of mankind. 4. Backbone of developing countries.

Education is the backbone of developing countries. Developing countries should understand the importance of education and develop a sound educational system. Sustainable development of economy and society is closely related to education.

The most important resource of a nation is its human-capital. Educated people have more understanding of themselves and of the others. They have the ability to become entrepreneurs, scientists and agriculturists. The world of today is driven by Information Technology and education in this field may become a deciding factor for the future economic development of developing countries. 5. Moral, spiritual and ethical values.

Half of your day is being spent at school and the other half at home. Normally, our true selves re revealed to our friends and not to our parents. So it is actually safe to say that the ones who truly know us best is our Creator and our friends.

It is not all the time that parents will keep an eye on you, that’s what the teachers are there for. They are there to help monitor the students and their behavior. Teachers also have a responsibility to teach values to these students so that they may be able to grow not only in character, but for them to later spread and teach other people as well. 6. Education produces good citizens.

A side effect from the fifth reason would be the fact that education helps produce good citizens. Good citizens do their part in making society a better place for everyone to live in.

7. Enjoy life.

People who have the opportunity to go to school are considered blessed and fortunate enough. You may think that school is tiring and not worth going to and that you would rather quit and drop school than to actually keep going. Well, you’re not actually wrong bout that. But before you do such a thing, think about the people who wished that they would have gone to school if they are born in a different scenario. By being educated, you get to enjoy the splendors that life has to offer just as long as you equally work hard on it too.

8. Freshness of approach.

People who are educated see things in an entirely different light. They do not have the same thinking as people who are not educated. If an uneducated man believes that the world will end in December 21, 2012, all the rest may actually believe in him but never the educated man. The educated person will only choose to believe the prophecy provided it is equipped with sufficient basis and research that the Mayans predicted the end of the world. Education is an important medium to transmit national culture to the students. Of course, educational institutions are not the only agencies through which the culture of the nation can be passed on to the younger generations.

The home exercises a powerful influence on the youthful mind. Religion and churches have a big role to play in making men truly cultured and moral. But schools and colleges have also a contribution to make to the transmission of national culture. You may also check out survey questionnaire examples.

10.  Literacy.

To know how to read and write is the duty of every educated person. Only an uneducated person will blabber gibberish and nonsense when trying to communicate to the public.

15. Earn a livelihood.

What is the first thing that people would normally do after they graduate? First thing they would do is to find a job. Most jobs require at least any college degree. But there are some jobs that require the person to take up a certain course or degree in sine that course has already provided him or her with the fundamental basics that he or she would need for the job. And once you begin to earn your own salary, you then begin to further enjoy what life has to offer you as you are already earning your own money and not relying on your parents.
