I am writing you in response to an opening in your organization for a position as Aerospace
Research Engineer. I have always been interested in planes and have always wanted design them.
After my good friend and colleague mentioned an opening in this area, I immediately applied. I
am a hardworking student and have recently graduated cum laude with a degree in Aerospace
Engineering and I am eager to work in this field.
I am interested in this position because it allows me to apply my education to aircraft design. . I
know that as a Aerospace Research Engineer you want certain qualities and background. I have
many of these qualities such as: asking the right questions and engineering certain vehicles. I am
also very good at math and science (as shown in my grades), I have good thinking skills, I am
good at analyzing problems and coming up with solutions, I am an active listener and learner,
and I have a lot of knowledge in technology and engineering.
