Re: Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (“WARN”)
Dear Mayor Duggan and Section Manager Howard:
The undersigned is HR Senior Manager for PepsiCo, Inc. (“PepsiCo” or the “Company”). This
letter constitutes written notice to you pursuant to the WARN Act and applicable Michigan state
or local laws that, effective September 27, 2025, PepsiCo will be discontinuing its Production,
Maintenance and Transport Operations at the facility it currently operates at:
Pepsi Detroit Production
1555 Mack Ave,
Detroit MI 48207
Please note that our warehouse, fleet, delivery, sales and field-service technician teams will
continue to operate at this location. At present, PepsiCo employs approximately 83
Production, Maintenance and Transport Employees at this location. Approximately 11 of
these employees, employed by PepsiCo at this location, are represented for purposes of
collective bargaining, by Teamsters Locals 337 and Operating Engineers 324. All affected
Employees were notified regarding the discontinuation of our Production Operations on
July 21, 2025, and have been provided with notices in accordance with the WARN Act.
Currently, PepsiCo has a contract with Teamsters Local 337 and
Operating Engineers
324. PepsiCo’s contract with Teamsters Local 337 may afford the impacted union workers’
bidding rights. However, any bidding rights available to bargaining unit members will be
governed by the applicable Letter of Understanding following effects bargaining. The name
