SUCCESS STORY
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) is responsible for
enforcing our nation’s immigration laws. The agency needed to scale up
operations and to improve their network infrastructure to increase their
operational capabilities. As a network solution partner with SAIC, ICMS was able
to meet the agencies accelerated timeline for a new network operations center in
the Phoenix, AZ area. This project required the design and installation of the
new laser aligned multimode fiber standards (first agency site to migrate to the
new standard) to support the network backbone as well as horizontal service to
classified workstations. ICMS was able to quickly adapt to the new standards
and scaled up operations to meet the accelerated time line. ICMS’s professional
technical staff was able to quickly step up to the challenge and successfully
completed the installation within the schedule requirements and the successful
implementation of the new technology standards.
