Dear Ms. Adeyemi,
I wanted to write and thank you properly — not just for the hour you spent with me last
month, but for everything you have given me since we first met in November.
When I started with you, I had been applying to product management roles for six months
without a single callback, and I had begun to believe the gap was simply too wide to close.
Your honest feedback on my resume, your insistence that I learn to tell a better story about my
work, and the mock interviews you ran with me on evenings you could have spent anywhere
else changed the entire course of my job search. I accepted an offer last week as an Associate
Product Manager at Cascade Health Systems, and I start on April 13. None of it would have
happened without you.
More than the career advice, your belief in me is what I will carry forward. You always seemed
to know exactly when I needed a push and when I needed reassurance. I hope to be that kind
of mentor to someone else one day, and I will do my best to pay forward everything you have
given me.
Thank you for your time, your patience, and your generosity.
With sincere gratitude,
Jordan
