CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK & AREAS FOR GROWTH
To prepare for a progression into a District Manager or Regional Operations role, Julian should focus on the
following developmental areas:
Delegation to Assistant Managers:
Because Julian has exceptionally high standards, he frequently absorbs
task-heavy duties (e.g., executing the weekly visual floor-set updates or performing the high-value cycle counts)
himself. He must learn to trust and delegate these critical operational tasks to his Assistant Store Managers to
truly scale his leadership capabilities.
Advanced P&L Analysis:
Julian is highly proficient at managing the controllable expenses (labor and supplies).
However, to transition to multi-unit leadership, he should deepen his understanding of macro-level P&L analysis,
focusing on how lease agreements, regional marketing spend, and depreciation impact the four-wall profitability
of a location.

FUTURE ROADMAP & RETAIL GOALS (FY2027)
Goal 1 (Multi-Unit Shadowing):
Serve as the designated "Training Store Manager" for the district,
onboarding all newly hired Store Managers for their first 30 days of orientation.
Goal 2 (Shrink Target):
Maintain a sub-1.0% shrink rate for a second consecutive fiscal year, while piloting a
new RFID tagging system on high-theft apparel categories.
Goal 3 (Conversion Rate):
Partner with the regional operations team to install and analyze new foot-traffic
counting sensors, aiming to boost the raw visitor-to-buyer conversion rate by 5% in Q2.
Goal 4 (Talent Pipeline):
Develop a formalized 8-week cross-training program for senior sales associates
aimed at preparing them for Keyholder and Supervisor responsibilities before the holiday rush.
