My work explores the relationship between code, systems, and visual expression. I am
interested in how algorithms can function as creative tools, generating forms and behaviours
that evolve beyond direct human control. Through software, drawing, and digital media, I
investigate the ways computational processes can produce images that are both structured and
unpredictable, revealing the beauty that emerges from simple rules and complex interactions.
The act of programming is central to my practice. I approach software as both a medium and a
method, writing instructions that establish conditions for growth, movement, and transformation.
Rather than creating fixed compositions, I design systems that continuously generate new visual
possibilities, allowing each execution of a program to become a unique interpretation of the
underlying algorithm.
My work is influenced by mathematics, biology, architecture, and the history of abstraction. I am
fascinated by the ways natural systems organize themselves through repetition, variation, and
emergence, and I explore how similar principles can exist within digital environments. By
translating these processes into visual form, I create works that blur the boundaries between
technology, nature, and artistic creation.
Line, colour, motion, and structure define my visual language. I use computational processes to
construct compositions that shift between order and chaos, precision and spontaneity. The
resulting images reflect the dynamic relationship between human intention and machine
execution, demonstrating how simple instructions can generate unexpected complexity through
time.
Experimentation and open-ended exploration guide my practice. I see technology not simply as
a tool for producing images but as a collaborator capable of extending creative thought.
Through generative systems, I encourage viewers to consider the invisible processes that
shape digital experiences and to reflect on the evolving relationship between humans,
machines, and creativity.
Ultimately, my practice is an exploration of computation as a form of artistic inquiry. Through
algorithms, software, and generative systems, I aim to create works that reveal the expressive
potential of code while encouraging new ways of thinking about authorship, process, and the
ever-changing nature of visual experience.
