My work explores the limits of the body and the possibilities of the human mind through the
experience of performance. I am interested in the relationship between physical endurance,
emotional vulnerability, and the invisible energy exchanged between artist and audience. By
using my own body as both subject and medium, I create situations that challenge conventional
ideas of time, presence, and participation, inviting viewers to become active participants in the
work rather than passive observers.
Performance is the foundation of my practice. I use prolonged actions, silence, repetition, and
ritual to investigate states of awareness that emerge when ordinary experiences are extended
beyond their expected duration. Through these carefully constructed encounters, I seek to
reveal how patience, concentration, and vulnerability can transform simple gestures into
profound experiences of connection and self-discovery.
The relationship between artist and audience is central to my work. I believe that the artwork
exists within the shared space created through presence, trust, and direct interaction. By
removing traditional barriers between performer and viewer, I invite participants to confront their
own emotions, perceptions, and responsibilities, allowing each performance to evolve through
the unique energy of those who experience it.
Time, memory, and consciousness continually shape my artistic language. I am influenced by
ritual practices, spirituality, and the universal human desire for transformation. Through
long-duration performances and immersive installations, I explore the ways silence, stillness,
and sustained attention can deepen perception and create moments of reflection that extend
beyond language and cultural boundaries.
Simplicity and discipline define my approach. Rather than relying on elaborate materials or
complex narratives, I focus on the essential elements of the body, space, and time. This
reduction allows the emotional and psychological dimensions of each performance to emerge
naturally, encouraging viewers to experience the work with heightened awareness and
openness.
Ultimately, my practice is an exploration of human presence as both an artistic medium and a
transformative experience. Through performance, installation, and direct engagement, I aim to
create works that challenge perception, strengthen empathy, and reveal the profound
connections that exist between body, mind, and shared human experience.
