My work explores the relationship between photography and social reality. I am interested in
using the camera as a means of witnessing the lives of individuals and communities whose
experiences often remain unseen. Through documentary photography and portraiture, I seek to
create images that reveal the dignity, resilience, and humanity that persist even in the face of
hardship, displacement, and social inequality.
People are at the heart of my practice. I approach every photograph with patience, observation,
and respect, believing that a portrait can communicate not only a person's appearance but also
their strength, vulnerability, and lived experience. By listening before photographing, I aim to
create images that honor the individuals before the camera and encourage viewers to engage
with their stories on a human level.
My work is deeply connected to themes of migration, labor, family, and community. I am drawn
to moments that reflect both personal struggle and collective resilience, documenting the ways
people adapt to changing economic, environmental, and social conditions. Through
photography, I explore how individual lives become part of broader historical narratives while
retaining their unique identities.
Light, composition, and simplicity define my visual language. I use natural environments and
unposed moments to create photographs that feel direct and honest, allowing emotion and
human presence to emerge without unnecessary distraction. Every image is carefully composed
to strengthen the relationship between subject, place, and story, inviting thoughtful observation
rather than immediate judgment.
I believe photography carries both artistic and social responsibility. My work seeks to preserve
