1. Getting Started with Wells Fargo Mobile®

The Wells Fargo Mobile® app is the central mobile channel for everyday banking. Current Wells Fargo materials highlight

Mobile Deposit, biometric sign-on, digital wallets, Zelle®, Pay & Transfer, account management, card controls, and

Fargo® as key mobile features.

Set up the app

1. Download the official app.

Use the official Wells Fargo Mobile® app from the supported app store for your device.

2. Sign on.

Enter your Wells Fargo Online username and password and complete any additional verification requested.

3. Review the home screen.

Confirm that expected accounts and balances are displayed.

4. Explore available controls.

Review alerts, card controls, deposit, transfer, wallet, and Fargo® options shown for your

account.

2. Account Management and Alerts

Use the app to monitor account activity, balances, deposits, withdrawals, card purchases, and available alerts.

Review an account

1. Sign on.

Open Wells Fargo Mobile® and authenticate.

2. Select the account.

Choose the checking, savings, or other eligible account.

3. Review activity.

Check recent transactions and available balance.

4. Open details when needed.

Review transaction information to identify the merchant, amount, date, or status.

Alerts

Alerts can help you stay informed about account and card activity. Available alert types and delivery methods depend on

the account and current Wells Fargo settings.

3. Biometric Sign-On

Eligible devices can use biometric authentication to sign on to the Wells Fargo Mobile® app. Wells Fargo documents Face

ID®, Touch ID®, and Android biometric sign-on for supported devices.

Enable biometric sign-on

1. Register your biometric on the device.

On iOS, use Face ID & Passcode or Touch ID & Passcode. On Android, use the

device’s Face or Fingerprint settings.

2. Open Wells Fargo Mobile®.

Launch the app and choose the available biometric setup option.

3. Authenticate once with your credentials.

Enter your username and password when prompted.

4. Confirm the feature.

Complete the setup screen to enable biometric sign-on.

Using biometrics

After setup, launch the app and follow the prompt to scan your face or fingerprint. Availability depends on the device. If

multiple fingerprints belonging to other people are registered on a device with fingerprint sign-on enabled, those

fingerprints may also provide access to the app.

4. Mobile Check Deposit

Wells Fargo Mobile® Deposit lets eligible customers deposit checks through the app by photographing the front and back

of an endorsed eligible check. Deposit limits are shown in the app for eligible accounts.

Sign, Snap, Deposit

1. Open Mobile Deposit.

Sign on and select the deposit function.

2. Choose the deposit account.

Select the eligible checking or savings account.

3. Enter the amount.

Enter the check amount carefully.

4. Photograph the front.

Place the check on a clear surface and capture the full front image.

5. Photograph the back.

Follow the app’s endorsement and image instructions.

6. Review and submit.

Confirm the account, amount, and images before submitting.

7. Keep the confirmation.

Retain the confirmation and follow Wells Fargo’s current instructions for the original check.

5. Bill Pay, Transfers and Payments

Wells Fargo Mobile® provides payment and transfer tools for eligible customers. Use the current Pay & Transfer menu to

select the service you need.

Pay a bill

1. Open Pay & Transfer.

Sign on and select the payment area.

2. Choose Bill Pay.

Select the bill-payment service.

3. Select or add a payee.

Confirm the intended company or recipient.

4. Enter payment details.

Choose the funding account, amount, and payment date or frequency.

5. Review.

Confirm payee, account, amount, and date.

6. Submit.

Complete the confirmation process and retain the payment information.

Transfers

For transfers between eligible Wells Fargo accounts or other supported accounts, choose the applicable transfer option

and follow the current prompts. Review the source account, destination account, amount, frequency, and effective date

before submitting.

6. Send and Receive Money with Zelle®

Zelle® is available in Wells Fargo Mobile® and Wells Fargo Online for eligible customers. Wells Fargo’s current workflow

uses a recipient’s enrolled email address, U.S. mobile number, or other supported identifier.

Send money

1. Open Zelle®.

On a smartphone, select Zelle® from the bottom navigation bar.

2. Add or select a recipient.

Choose a trusted recipient or enter the recipient’s information.

3. Enter the amount and funding account.

Specify how much to send and choose the account.

4. Review and send.

Carefully verify the recipient and payment details before submitting.

Receive money

To receive money, enroll an eligible email address, U.S. mobile number, or supported Zelle® identifier and link a deposit

account. When someone sends money, the funds are directed to the linked account and notification is provided through

the enrolled contact method.

Zelle® safety check

Only send money to people you know and trust. Before sending, independently confirm the recipient information and

amount. Treat an unexpected request for payment as unverified until you confirm it through a trusted channel.

A Zelle® transfer may not be reversible after it is sent, so review the recipient carefully before selecting Send.

7. Cards, Digital Wallets and Contactless Access

Wells Fargo supports digital wallets for eligible cards, including Apple Pay®, Google Pay™, and other supported wallet

services. Digital wallets can be used for in-store, in-app, and online purchases, and eligible cards can also provide access

at compatible Wells Fargo ATMs.

Add a card to a digital wallet

1. Open your Wells Fargo card controls.

Sign on and select the eligible debit or credit card.

2. Choose the wallet option.

Follow the current prompt to add the card to a supported digital wallet.

3. Authenticate.

Complete the device or wallet verification requested.

4. Confirm setup.

Verify that the card appears in the wallet.

Contactless purchases and ATM access

At a compatible checkout terminal, look for the contactless symbol and select your digital-wallet card. Authenticate using

the device method required, then hold the device near the reader. Compatible Wells Fargo ATMs can also support

contactless access for eligible cards and wallets.

Card controls

Wells Fargo provides controls that can allow eligible credit and debit cards to be turned on or off. Use these controls when

appropriate, and review the card’s status after making a change.

Digital wallets do not necessarily expose the physical card number during a purchase. Availability varies by device,

card, wallet, and service.

8. Travel and International Card Preparation

Wells Fargo states that customers do not need to notify the bank of travel plans because of enhanced security technology.

Before international travel, however, card readiness can help avoid unnecessary interruptions.

Before traveling outside the U.S.

1. Confirm contact information.

Make sure Wells Fargo can reach you if unusual activity is detected.

2. Review debit-card international usage.

Use Turn Card On or Off to confirm international usage is enabled for the debit

card if you will use it outside the United States.

3. Check daily limits.

Review purchase and ATM withdrawal limits and adjust eligible limits if needed.

4. Confirm your PIN.

Make sure you know the four-digit PIN needed for applicable foreign ATM access.

5. Review wallet access.

If using a digital wallet, confirm the intended card is active and available.

9. Fargo® Virtual Assistant

Fargo® is Wells Fargo’s virtual assistant within its digital banking experience. It can help customers find information,

search transactions, and surface supported financial information and insights.

Use Fargo®

1. Open Fargo®.

Select the Fargo® assistant from the current Wells Fargo Mobile® interface.

2. Ask a clear question.

Type or speak a supported banking request.

3. Review the response.

Check the account, transaction, date, amount, or other details presented.

4. Take action only after verification.

If Fargo® directs you to a banking action, confirm the details in the authenticated

Wells Fargo interface.

1. Stop.

Do not continue an unfamiliar payment, transfer, or sign-in request.

2. Review activity.

Check the affected account or card for unfamiliar transactions.

3. Secure access.

Use official Wells Fargo security and credential-recovery procedures if needed.

4. Report the issue.

Contact Wells Fargo through an official channel if fraud or card loss is suspected.
