Our Code of Conduct describes the day-to-day
behaviors expected from all members of BCG,
acting as a bridge between our values, our
purpose, and our more detailed global policies.
It is intended to foster ethical and appropriate
decision making while ensuring that our
behaviors are aligned with expected standards of
professional conduct.
The Code of Conduct applies equally to all
members of the f irm, regardless of office location,
function, cultural differences, or cohort level. All
Managing Directors & Partners and employees
of all BCG companies, affiliates, offices, and
legal entities are expected to adhere to the Code
of Conduct. As individuals, we are personally
accountable for behaving in a manner that is
professional, lawful, and in accordance with
our values, purpose, and policies. If you suspect
or know of a situation that runs counter to our
Code of Conduct, or if you simply face a choice
involving ethics or values, we expect you to raise
the situation with the appropriate individuals so
that the matter can be promptly resolved.
Background
Seeking Assistance &
Sharing Our Concerns
Situations may arise involving ethical dilemmas,
difficult decisions, or conduct inconsistent with our
Code of Conduct. Our aim is to ensure that everyone
feels comfortable seeking guidance and raising
concerns.
Concerns should be raised in good faith and
through appropriate channels. Many issues can
be addressed by your leadership team, such as
your manager or an MDP, or by contacting HR.
You may also use other BCG channels, including
the Ombuds channel and the Speak Up Line.
We should all lead by example and ensure that
BCG’s standards are widely known and effectively
applied. This Code contains a high-level overview
of the many key company policies that we are
responsible for knowing and following in full. These
global policies help ensure consistency across
our organization and serve as a guide to help us
adhere to our values and align with the laws we
must follow. Where relevant, additional geographic
or functional policies and guidelines are available
from your local office leadership.
Those who are in positions of leadership must
ensure that team members understand and follow
our Code of Conduct. While our Code of of Conduct
highlights certain key policies please note this
is not an exhaustive overview and we have other
policies that BCGers are expected to know and
adhere to.
We should always feel encouraged
to ask questions, raise potential
concerns, or challenge issues when
the need arises by contacting one
or more of the following resources:
Local office
leadership
Regional, System, Function, Business
Unit, or Practice Area leadership
Any member
of the legal team
Local, regional,
or global HR
Any member of
BCG management
Any member of our Ombudsperson system
Suspected violations of our Code of Conduct can be
raised anonymously via the Ombuds channel or the
Speak Up Line, although anonymous reports may be
more difficult for BCG to investigate thoroughly.
Each concern is handled with sensitivity and in
confidence to the extent possible.

SOCIETY
Everyone at BCG has an obligation to raise known
or suspected violations of our Code of Conduct
and of any law, regulation, or policy, even where
compliance is challenging or inconvenient. We are
also responsible for seeking guidance before acting
in situations that may fall within a gray area.
The ‘Raise an Issue’ microsite provides safe and
confidential options for reporting values-based
concerns, including guidance on how to raise a
concern, choose the most appropriate channel,
and know what to expect throughout the process.
BCG strictly prohibits any retaliation against any
person for raising a possible violation in good faith
or for participating in an investigation. Acting in good
faith means coming forward honestly, in a timely way,
and sharing all relevant information you have.
Violations of our Code of Conduct or policies will result
in appropriate disciplinary action. Consequences may
include termination and, in rare cases, civil or criminal
prosecution. Any disciplinary action by BCG will
comply with BCG policies and applicable local laws.
Out of respect for all involved, any consequences are
shared directly with the individual concerned and are
not disclosed more broadly unless the circumstances
require it.
