Definition of Agreement

When we mention the word agreement, we think of something binding. Something that two parties accept on a single area. In this case, an agreement should be carried out legally and obligatory between two or more parties. They are both in a common ground, accepting which course of action each of the parties are willing to take. 

Difference between Contract and Agreement

We often assume that the words Contracts and Agreements are interchangeable. That they both sound the same in terms of uses but they are literally different from their definition and uses. When we say agreement, what we mean is,  when two or more parties agree on an action to be done on mutual grounds. However, a contract is a definite agreement among parties that create legitimate mandatory responsibilities.

Definition of Scholarship Agreement

A scholarship agreement is a type of contract where the benefactor or the person who is assigned to give and explain the information of the scholarship to the recipient. The recipient of the scholarship is given an outline of the terms and conditions which the recipient must agree to be given the scholarship. 

Consequences When Breaking the Agreement

One example for that would be that if you do not attend all your classes, your scholarship may be taken away and you may have to pay a fine.
• Signature of student and Date: You have read everything from top to bottom, all that is left is to sign the agreement. Insisting you are of able mind and understood that if you disagree or break one of the rules, consequences will follow.

Scholarship agreements can be quite scary especially if you have no idea what to expect.
