What Is a Training Management Plan

A training management plan is a document containing all the necessary information and details that the trainer will use to conduct a successful training. The upper management and the HR of the business or company will need to communicate, develop, and scrutinize the training management plan. The training management plan allows the trainer to conduct the training with structure and efficiency. The training management plan will not only provide structure for the training but will also try to inform upper management why this training is needed.

How to Create a Training Management Plan

The training management plan can be used for training that only incorporate a project training plan, a training plan for employees, a military training plan, and even a volunteer training plan. 1.) Fill in the Name of the Group or Project

Start by filling in the name of the group or project. If there is no group or project name, then the planner should use the name of the business or company. You will also need to list down the names of the participants or trainees who will undertake the training. This will entirely depend on the purpose of the training management plan. A training management plan for managers should only include managers of the business or company.

2.) List Down the Overview and the Name of the Trainer

After filling in the first part of the management plan, the planner will then need to describe the whole overview of the training, This should include a small list of training objectives and events that will be used throughout the training. The planner will also need to include the name of the trainer and their assistants on the training management plan.

3.) Address the Purpose and the Goals of the Training

The planner must then address why this training needs to be conducted on the employees of a specific group or project. This will ensure that the training will provide a solution or a specific need that is lacking in the group or project. After addressing the purpose of the training, the planner will now need to list down the goals and the projected outcome of the training.

4.) Write Down the Specific Events of the Training Program

When the planner has accomplished all of that, they will now need to write down the specific events that will make up the training program. This will include the specific events on the program and their accompanying descriptions and allocated resources.
