bookings, travel time conflicts, or missing meeting agendas days in advance. I make it a
habit to resolve these issues behind the scenes before they ever become a stressor for
the team.
Discretion & Professionalism:
Handling sensitive executive communications,
performance review schedules, and internal financial documents requires strict
confidentiality. I have consistently demonstrated that I can be trusted with highly
sensitive information, maintaining a professional boundary and ensuring that
confidential paperwork is never left unsecured.
GROWTH AREAS & CHALLENGES
A recurring challenge for me this year has been boundary setting. Because I am eager
to help and want to be a reliable resource for the entire office, I often take on tasks that
technically fall outside my purview, such as basic IT troubleshooting or organizing
informal team social events on short notice. While I enjoy supporting the team culture,
saying "yes" to everything occasionally forces me to rush my core administrative duties
at the end of the day. I am actively working on politely redirecting requests to the
appropriate departments (like entering an IT ticket instead of trying to fix the printer
myself) to protect my time and maintain a higher standard of focus on my primary
responsibilities.
FUTURE GOALS
To continue growing in my role and providing elevated support to the office, I have set
the following goals for the upcoming review period:
Software Proficiency:
Complete an advanced Microsoft Excel training course by the
end of Q2 to better assist the operations team with preliminary budget tracking,
expense report formatting, and data entry.
Standardize Onboarding Logistics:
Partner with the HR department by Q3 to
create a standardized "New Hire Desk Setup" checklist, ensuring that all equipment,
software licenses, and welcome materials are perfectly prepared before a new
employee's first day.
