arbitrary benchmarks.
GROWTH AREAS & CHALLENGES
A notable challenge I faced this year was capacity management and an over-reliance on
manual administrative processes. Because I want every client to feel like my only client, I
often found myself personally drafting follow-up emails, opening new accounts, and
manually updating CRM records instead of delegating to my Client Service Associate
(CSA). This perfectionism created a bottleneck in Q3, where new client onboarding
dragged out to three weeks. I am realizing that by holding onto administrative tasks, I am
actually doing a disservice to my clients by limiting my availability for strategic planning. I
am actively working on trusting my support team, fully utilizing our firm's automated
workflows, and transitioning from a "solo practitioner" mindset to a true "team leader"
mentality.
FUTURE GOALS
To continue scaling my practice and providing exceptional fiduciary care, I have
established the following goals for the upcoming year:
Next-Generation Engagement:
Launch a "Wealth Transfer Workshop" in Q2
specifically designed for the adult children of our top 20 clients, aiming to build
relationships with the next generation before the eventual transfer of wealth occurs.
Practice Management & Delegation:
Delegate 100% of account opening and money
movement tasks to the CSA team by the end of Q1, freeing up 10 hours per week to
focus strictly on business development and complex financial planning cases.
Advanced Designation:
Enroll in the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA)
certification program to deepen my expertise in minimizing taxes, monetizing closely-
held businesses, and protecting assets for ultra-high-net-worth clients.
