ANNUAL SELF PERFORMANCE REVIEW
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Over the past year, my primary focus has been delivering high-quality, user-centric features
while modernizing our frontend architecture. My most significant accomplishment was leading
the frontend development for our new customer self-service portal. The legacy system was
built on an outdated framework, resulting in slow load times and a poor mobile experience. I
spearheaded the migration to a modern React-based Single Page Application (SPA),
collaborating closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless responsive design. This effort
not only improved our average page load speed but also noticeably reduced the number of
support tickets related to mobile usability issues.
Furthermore, I took the initiative to champion accessibility within our development process. I
conducted a comprehensive audit of our core application components and updated them to
meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. By integrating automated accessibility testing into our CI
pipeline and hosting a brief workshop for the team on semantic HTML and ARIA attributes, I
helped ensure our application is inclusive and usable for a wider audience. Finally, I actively
contributed to our team's agile maturity by taking on the role of rotating Scrum Master for two
sprints, helping to refine our backlog and keep our daily stand-ups focused and efficient.
