KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Over the past year, my primary focus was maintaining strict adherence to ISO 9001 standards
on the active production floor while reducing our overall scrap rate. My most significant
achievement was identifying a recurring out-of-tolerance issue on the CNC lathe line during Q2.
By meticulously charting dimensional variances across three shifts, I traced the defect back to
premature tooling wear rather than operator error. I collaborated with the machining supervisor
to adjust the tool-change frequency, which immediately reduced our monthly scrap costs on that
specific part by 18%.
Additionally, I took the lead on transitioning our daily inspection logs from paper routing slips to
the new digital Quality Management System (QMS). I trained four junior inspectors on how to
properly input defect codes and attach photographic evidence using the floor tablets,
significantly improving the traceability of non-conforming materials for the engineering team.

BLUEPRINT READING & GD&T:
I possess a high level of proficiency in interpreting complex
engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). I am highly
comfortable setting up and utilizing precision measurement tools, including micrometers, optical
comparators, and basic Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) routines, to ensure parts meet
exact specifications.
FLOOR COMMUNICATION:
I understand that the relationship between QC and Production can
often feel adversarial. I pride myself on communicating rejections factually and respectfully.
Instead of simply tagging a pallet with a red "REJECT" sticker and walking away, I always take
the time to show the operator the specific variance on the gauge, fostering a collaborative
approach to quality rather than a punitive one.
