KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Over the past year, my primary focus has been on executing the mechanical design of the new V4
pump assembly and driving cost-reduction initiatives across our existing product lines. My most
significant achievement was successfully leading the structural optimization of the V4 main
housing. By utilizing advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to identify areas of low stress, I
redesigned the internal ribbing, which reduced the overall raw material usage by 12% without
compromising the unit's fatigue life or thermal dissipation targets. This redesign translated directly
to a significant savings per unit in casting costs.
Additionally, I prioritized strengthening our Design for Manufacturability (DFM) practices. I initiated
a series of bi-weekly collaborative review sessions with the production floor supervisors and
tooling engineers during the early prototyping phases. This proactive cross-functional
communication allowed us to catch two critical assembly bottlenecks—specifically regarding
fastener accessibility—before finalizing the CAD models, ultimately preventing costly delays
during the initial production ramp-up.

Detailed CAD & Simulation:
I possess a high degree of proficiency in solid modeling and
simulation. I approach modeling not just as a drafting exercise, but as a critical validation tool,
meticulously applying realistic boundary conditions and load cases to test designs digitally before
we ever cut physical metal.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
I have demonstrated a strong ability to systematically
troubleshoot physical failures. When the legacy gear trains began experiencing premature wear in
the field, I led the teardown and 8D problem-solving process, successfully tracing the issue back
to a slight misalignment tolerance stack-up rather than a material defect, allowing us to correct the
machining drawings swiftly.
