How to Use the AI QR Code Generator

Step 1: Choose a QR Content Type

  • QR Content: Pick what the QR code should do when scanned — URL, UPI, PayPal, Text, or vCard. URL is selected by default. The fields below change automatically based on the type you choose.

Step 2: Fill In Your Content

  • URL: Enter the website address the code should open.
  • UPI: Enter your UPI ID, plus an optional payee name, amount, and note, to create a scan-to-pay code for Indian payment apps.
  • PayPal: Enter your PayPal.me username or email, with an optional amount and currency, to create a scan-to-pay code.
  • Text: Type any plain text you want the code to reveal when scanned — a message, a code, or a note.
  • vCard: Enter a full name plus optional organization, job title, phone, email, website, address, location, and notes to create a scannable digital business card.

Step 3: Pick a Frame and Module Shape

  • Frame Shape: Under the Shape tab, choose None, Square, Rounded, Circle, or Badge. This adds a decorative outer border around the whole QR code. None is selected by default, leaving the code borderless.
  • Module Shape: Choose Square, Rounded, Circle, Diamond, or Dot to change the shape of the individual dots that make up the code. Square is selected by default.

Step 4: Choose a Color Theme

  • Preset Styles: Under the Theme tab, click any of the 21 ready-made color presets — including Default, Inverted, High Contrast, Blue, Red, Green, and several Dark variants — to instantly set the background and QR color.
  • Custom Theme: Use the Background and QR Color pickers to set any exact colors instead of a preset.

Step 5: Add a Logo (Optional)

  • Logo: Under the Logo tab, drag and drop or upload a PNG, JPG, or SVG (up to 2MB). It’s placed at the center of the code with a clean background plate behind it so it stays legible.

Step 6: Add a Marker (Optional)

  • Marker: Under the Marker tab, upload a small badge or icon separate from your main logo. Use the Width, Height, and Opacity sliders to size and fade it, then choose one of nine positions — from Top Left to Bottom Right — to place it around the code. Bottom Right is selected by default.

Step 7: Set the Size and Error Correction

  • Size: Choose the output resolution — 256×256, 400×400, 512×512, or 1024×1024 pixels. 400×400 is selected by default.
  • Error Correction: Choose Low, Medium, Quartile, or High. Quartile is selected by default and gives a good balance of density and reliability; choose High if you’ve added a Logo or Marker, since it lets the code stay scannable even with part of it covered.

Step 8: Generate and Download Your QR Code
